A Memoir
Karen Adkins wrote this book for those who feel they have lost hope, whether it's because of a financial hardship, chronic illness, loss of a loved one, betrayal, or abandonment. Help is on the way. Healing will come. Look to God and don't be afraid to ask. Abba Father is loving and faithful, and his tender mercies are new every morning.
Through these pages, you will learn:
- There is always hope.
- You do not have to walk alone.
- The promises of God are never broken by tragedy.
"But the Lord stood at my side and gave me strength" (2 Timothy 4:17 NIV). He has turned my mourning into dancing and given me beauty for ashes. He loves you and desires that you come to him and let him do his perfect work in your situation.
About the Author

He was stricken with brain cancer and passed away on Thanksgiving morning of 2016. Although Karen was raised in church and rooted and grounded in the word of God, losing the love of her life challenged her faith, and the dark grief she experienced drove her for a time to thoughts of suicide. She is continuing to serve the Lord believing that the God who began a good work in her is faithful and just to complete it. Karen has three children and four grandchildren who light up her world.
