Melanie Willis was raised in West Chester Township, Ohio, and currently resides in Liberty Township, Ohio. She married her husband, Patrick, in 2012, and they have four children—Parker, Mason, Hayley, and Beckett—and two dogs. She graduated from the University of Cincinnati with a degree in communications and is currently an executive assistant in Cincinnati.
Melanie always dreamed of writing a book, and one night her oldest son asked her to make up a bedtime story, so together they did. Each night, the two of them added fun details and thus created this perfect story.
